The Melbourne Square Mall in Florida is yet another gun-free zone

17 Jan , 2015

There might not be too many malls in Florida that ban permitted concealed handguns, but the Melbourne Square Mall where there was an attack that left one victim dead and one wounded was another gun-free zone.  The Melbourne Square Mall is “a Simon Mall.”  Yet, none of the news media have mentioned this point.  …

Leading European Rabbi calls for Jews to be able to carry handguns

15 Jan , 2015

Putting 10,000 French soldiers in front of Jewish facilities will offer little protection as terrorists have control over where and when they attack.  Terrorists have important strategic advantages in picking the time and place for attacks.  Putting uniformed guards at places mean that terrorists will either kill these guards first or wait for them to leave an area before an attack occurs.

19 Dec , 2014

The newest piece by John Lott at the Daily Caller starts this way:

These days, it isn’t even safe to get a cup of coffee. Australians just learned this the hard way. In the U.S., watching a movie can apparently be too dangerous. At least, terrorist threats by North Korea canceled the showing of “The Interview” in movie theaters.

Bakersfield, California Vice Principal shows that concealed carry permit holders can legally carry guns on school property

10 Sep , 2014

This story won’t be a surprise for those who have followed the CPRC (or here).  In California, concealed carry permit holders are allowed to carry on school property if they have approval of the school superintendent, which it would be too surprising for Vice Principal to obtain.  From KBAK/KBFX in Bakersfield, California:

A Tevis Junior High School administrator who was arrested and subsequently released last month after bringing a gun to school has filed a claim against the city of Bakersfield and its police department, according to his attorney Daniel Rodriguez.

Bloomberg’s groups continue to push to ban guns in businesses

8 Sep , 2014

Bloomberg’s groups have been pushing for sometime to get businesses to ban guns in their facilities.  On Monday, Panera Bread announced that it was asking customers not to bring guns to its restaurants” ((314) 984-1000).  But much of the media coverage has been misleading and simply asking people not to bring their guns with them won’t have any legal effect.  …

1) Geraldo claims that Taylor is safe because Bennett will for certain be in jail for the next 4 years and she has nothing to worry about.…
