Gun-free zones are a serious problem. Shannon Watts, the head of Michael Bloomberg’s Moms Demand Action, claimed that research that John Lott had done was “wrong and misleading” and that Lott was “debunked.” When Lott responded with a point-by-point refutation of her claim, she accused him of being a Twitter “troll.” Watts makes clearly personal attacks, but she feels that it is improper for someone to factually respond to her claims. She offers no proof for her claim that John Lott is a “gun lobby researcher,” falsely implying that John Lott is funded by the “gun lobby.” Instead of defending her claims about gun-free zones, Shannon moves on to other personal attacks, saying Lott supposedly bullied a stalking victim. Now Bloomberg’s and Shannon Watts’ Moms Demand Action has blocked me from following their tweets.

What an idiot. If they had real arguments they wouldn’t need to make up lies about Dr. Lott.
John Lott didn’t start out being a pro-gun person, he was just putting together gun statistics and those same statistics morphed into his book, “More Guns Less Crime”. I’ve read this book and if anyone gets the chance to read it, do so.
