Worth a listen: On KSRO to talk about the gun control debate

Jun 24, 2019 | Featured

Dr. John Lott was on KSRO’s Pat Kerrigan Show to debate general gun control issues. Kerrigan is a gun control advocate so it was a lively discussion. Among the issues discussed was that gun bans have always been associated with increased murder rates. Unfortunately, the show’s producer edited out part of the interview at the end where Lott left her without being able to provide a response, though this is still one of our better interviews.

It was obvious from the start, MS. Kerrigan, was trying to discredit Dr. Lott, by trying to link him with the NRA, and questioning Dr. Lott’s research, whether it was credible. She several times, implied that Dr. Lott was for everyone having guns, and he had to correct her, every time. She finally let her emotions, rather than logic, come out at the end of the interview, when she again implied Dr. Lott’s would have everyone armed, and for his research, she stated, “I don’t believe in any of that.” That is what liberally biased people do. They are ruled by their emotional bias, and facts and statistics don’t matter to them. Can’t break from their agenda. Even when the facts and statistics show otherwise.
