TV Show Bias: FBI Dismissing the notion Concealed Carry Permit holders can stop a mass public shooter, “wild west shootout”

Nov 4, 2022 | Gun Free Zones, Media Bias

Mass public shooters pick gun-free zones as their target for a reason. These murderers know the more people they kill, the more media attention they can get. They know that they will be able to kill more people when victims can’t defend themselves. If you exclude gun-free zones, over 50 percent of active shooting attacks are stopped by civilians legally carrying guns.

These fears voiced by the TV FBI agent are misplaced. “The media and gun control advocates always seem concerned with the worst possible outcomes when firearms are involved,” said Professor Carl Moody at the College of William & Mary. “We know that armed citizens do, in fact, stop active shooters. And while there’s a possibility of a bystander getting hurt, the data put together by the CPRC show that an armed citizen has yet to accidentally shoot an innocent bystander. We also know that the police have accidentally shot the hero citizen just once. That was in Colorado on June 21, 2021. That’s not something that would normally happen, because the police usually arrive long after the incident is resolved.“

FBI Most Wanted Season 4, Episode 1, September 20, 2022.
