Dr. Lott talks with host Kerry Lutz about the benefits of concealed carry and gives examples of violent attacks that have been stopped by concealed handgun carry permit holders. There are costs and benefits to owning guns but the media overwhelmingly reports on negative incidents and does not give the public a true picture of how guns are used to save innocent lives by law-abiding people.

Also discussed is the fact that mass public shooters choose gun-free zones because they are easier targets where they can get a higher body bag count.

UPDATE: Data directly from the Federal Police shows a different set of numbers (Original Post below). The number of CAC licenses in Brazil increased from 867,472 in 2022 to 1,026,633 in 2026 (see screenshots below), but those are internal government numbers that links...
