Bloomberg’s cases involve shootings near a school and a large percentage are gang shootings after hours.  While gang fights over drug turf are an important problem, they are a very different issue with different solutions than the mass public shootings where the goal is to kill as many people as possible.  In any case, school shootings have been declining over time.

Is Bloomberg so uncertain of his case that he has to falsely claim 74 school shootings when the number according to CNN is 15 or Politifact is 10?
