Debate on Britain’s LBC radio show about the US’s gun control regulations

Nov 8, 2017 | Featured

Dr. John Lott debated Guardian US columnist Richard Wolffe on Ian Collin’s LBC show.  The discussion covered topics from whether people on the terror watch list should be able to own guns to the different laws between whether one can get a concealed handgun permit or own a gun.  Regarding Wolffe’s claim that Lott was wrong that about Stephen Willeford saving the lives of the church members.  Lott pointed to the statements of witnesses.

UPDATE: New statements from victims in the church indicate that the killer, Devin Kelley, was going back to kill those who he had previously wounded when Stephen Willeford fired a shot at Kelley, causing Kelley to break off the attack.

    Richard Wolffe is simply ignorant.

This is how fanatical the gun control crowd is. They can’t/won’t admit even one SINGLE inarguable objective example (and there are many more than a single example, of course) of a good guy using a gun to save lives because they are so dedicated to the idea that guns are evil and only used for evil purposes. Such absurd absolutism is borderline insanity.
