A new survey commissioned by the Crime Prevention Research Center finds that nearly 30% of likely voters carry a firearm at least occasionally, a significant increase from previous years. The trend comes as more states adopt constitutional carry laws, eliminating permit requirements for law-abiding citizens to carry concealed handguns.
