From Stossel TV: The FBI says self-defense with a gun is RARE, and their statistics support that. The legacy media, Hollywood, and left-wing politicians use that data to push gun control. Six days after the video was posted on September 10th YouTube it had received 279,657 views, and Stossel informs us that it had received about 2.8 million views across all its platforms. The point of our research is that no one needs to take our word for these missing cases. We list them all out here and people can check to see if they see the FBI’s definition of an active shooting.
John Stossel’s tweet of the video received 11.6 million impressions and Elon Musk’s retweet has gotten another 10.4 million.
Do you carry a gun?
Bad idea, says Hollywood. Civilians with guns are fools. You are more likely to hurt yourself than the bad guy.
“Leave it to a good guy with a gun to really screw things up,” says a cop on ABC’s “The Rookie.”
Liberal politicians agree.
“A good guy with a gun will stop bad guys with a gun?! It doesn’t hold up,” smiles New York Gov. Kathy Hochul.
“An adolescent rescue fantasy,” adds an “expert” on CBS.
Now, I’m not a gun person. I was raised among lefty gun haters. I assumed Hollywood and “experts” were right.
When I saw economist John Lott’s book, “More Guns, Less Crime,” I rolled my eyes. But now I understand that Lott makes a good point. . . .
