As if it isn’t enough that entertainment TV shows consistently show the myths that gun control advocates that defensive gun uses always fail, that AR-15s are machine guns, that American criminals are always using machine guns, and much more. But TV shows constantly demonize gun makers and sellers in other ways. Unfortunately, CBS’s The Company You Keep paints gun makers as part of the “evil empire” that bribes politicians to pass the legislation they want (Season 1, Episode 4, March 19, 2023).
