CBS television show criticizes non-law enforcement with guns as a danger to themselves and others

CBS’s SWAT depicts bounty hunters as idiots who continuously get in the way of the police doing their job and endangering the lives of police and others. Bounty hunters are described as relics of a long-ago past, who might have had a role at one time, but no longer. As is so typical of television shows these days, anyone with guns who is not law enforcement are viewed as a danger. So as not to violate copyright rules, the clip illustrates only some of the problems the episode illustrates that are caused by the bounty hunters. This is a long way from ABC’s The Fall Guy that was on the air from 1981 to 1986.
