Dr. John Lott was on the Vicki McKenna Show that covers most of Wisconsin (WISN, WIBA, WMEQ) to discuss how Democrats want to make it costly for the poor and minorities to buy guns for self-defense. These are the very people who benefit the most from having the option to defend themselves. The discussion started off with the Gun Violence Prevention and Safe Communities Act of 2018, but the real damage will come from other gun control regulations as discussed here.
