Dr. John Lott spoke with show host Kerby Anderson about how Terrorists intentionally target gun-free zones over and over again to kill as many people as possible. An example is the Bataclan Theatre in Paris. There were eight off duty police officers inside the theatre to enjoy the concert. However, because France does not allow their off duty officers to carry (and the venue was a gun-free zone) those officers were just as defenseless as the regular citizens.
Dr. Lott explains that mass public shootings in the United States overwhelmingly occur in these areas where guns are banned and innocent people are helpless to quickly stop the attacks.
