Valet attendant Didarul Sarder’s quick action to pull out his permitted concealed handgun saved a woman’s life.  From the CBS WWJ in Detroit about a case in Warren, Michigan:

. . . The situation unfolded around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the GM campus in Warren, which stretches from Van Dyke Avenue to Mound Road and from 12 Mile Road to 13 Mile Road.

. . . an African American woman walked into the lobby of the visitor’s area and asked for an employee, another African American woman, by name.

“That female came down. They spoke a few minutes and then walked outside in front of the lobby,” Fouts told WWJ’s Zahra Huber.

The women got into some kind of verbal dispute, Fouts said, during which the visitor pulled out a steak knife and violently stabbed the employee several times in the neck, abdomen and back.

A nearby valet driver, who also has a concealed pistol license, saw what was happening and rushed to the employee’s aid.

“He pulled the weapon out and stopped the attack from taking place,” said Fouts. “By then, this woman had been stabbed multiple times.”

The driver held the attacker on the ground at gunpoint as other GM workers called 911. Police quickly arrived on the scene and took the suspect into custody as the employee was rushed to the hospital. She was last reported in critical condition. . . .

So what happened to the valet driver who saved the woman’s life?

FOX 2’s Hannah Saunders reports the valet driver who intervened has since been fired. She is working to learn details about why he was fired. . . .

Does the press have to call a woman who stabbed another in front of many people a ‘suspect’ ?

How would the employer feel if it was them being stabbed and there was no one around that could help? I know he wouldn’t feel anything because they would be DEAD!!! Karma is a Bitch

Good Citizen Concealed Carriers have saved lives in a Utah mall, an Oregon mall and any other places. To fire someone for saving a life is just WRONG!

The armed citizen was escorted off the property and told he can’t work there because he carries a gun. Later GM announced that the guy was not fired (pending an investigation).

As for the attacker, a relative says the woman has mental issues and was off her meds. Yet magically, she was sane enough to comply when a gun was pointed at her. Go figger.
