Police officer Derek Chauvin’s killing of a black man, George Floyd, this past week launched protests and riots across the country. Despite there being no evidence yet that the officer was racist, it is simply assumed that racism motivated the white cop’s abusive actions.

Tennessee House makes moves to Constitutional Carry and allow students to carry on college campuses

The state House has previously been the hardest part of passing these bills so this is big news in Tennessee. The vote in the House occurred on Wednesday, May 27, 2020.

The GOP-led Tennessee House has advanced several proposals that would allow public college students with permits to carry concealed guns on campus and eliminate the requirement that residents obtain any permits to carry handguns, including for concealed weapons.

Another inmate released from prison to protect him from the Coronavirus.

A Colorado convict accused of murdering a 21-year-old woman last Saturday in Denver had been released from prison early due to the coronavirus, according to local media.

Cornelius Haney, 40, was nabbed over the weekend for the fatal shooting of Heather Perry in an alleyway, NBC’s 9News-Denver reported.

Wells Fargo will spend $10 million on gun violence “research”

In order to buy protection from gun control groups, Wells Fargo has promised to give more than $10 million to support their research agenda.

Trisha Schultz, a Wells Fargo spokeswoman, said in a statement that the bank planned to invest more than $10 million over three years in studying gun-violence prevention and in improving school safety.
