A TV police show finally questions the bail reform and how liberal policies are making police quit

Nov 11, 2022 | Media Bias

We virtually always find media bias on TV shows that misinforms people, so we are obligated in the rare instance we see a show providing accurate information. CBS’ Blue Bloods has an interesting show that covers the frustrations and dangers of being a police officer. An officer Jaime Reagan, played by William Estes, is shot (not shown in the clips that we show here), but he is the officer who is complaining about bail reform immediately letting dangerous criminals back out on the street.

One problem with bail reform not mentioned on the show is the issue of marginal deterrence. If someone is already facing a life sentence if convicted of the various crimes he is being charged with, what additional penalty can you impose on him if he commits another crime?
