On Sean Hannity Radio Show: On solutions to mass public shootings

May 6, 2019 | Featured

From Hannity.com’s synopsis of Dr. Lott’s half hour on Sean Hannity’s national radio show.

With John Lott, as we get over another attack in California, and one at the University of North Carolina, we take a look at the locations that have not had attacks. From 2000 to 2018, with teachers now carrying guns in twenty states, there have been no school shootings at schools that have let teachers carry guns. This figure is proof that environments, where attackers know that they will face return fire, lowers the chance of an attack. As we look at 20 years since Columbine, we have to start trying new solutions.

The research that we discussed is available here.
