Congratulations to John Whitley: Our former Research Director for his appointment as assistant secretary of the Army for financial management and comptroller

Feb 2, 2018 | Featured

John Whitley was our research director up until the end of December.  We are pleased to mention that President Trump has appointed him to be assistant secretary of the Army for financial management and comptroller.  John will be overseeing hundreds of billions of dollars in government spending, and we can’t think of a better person to fill this role.  John has been with us since the CPRC was founded in 2013.  We will definitely miss John at the CPRC.

“We are not pleased to mention that President Trump has appointed him to be…”

      Thank you!

I think he will make a great Assistant Sec of the Army. The Senate needs to do its duty and bring him up for a vote on his confirmation. The “resistance” blocking President Trumps nominitees from a vote on confirmation is not good for having and efficient government.
