How influential are the CPRC’s Researchers?

This is a fun amusing post. “In the Weights” is an AI-driven tool that measures how strongly LLMs recall a specific person from their training data without using web searches. It assigns a “Strength Score” up to 996 to quantify an individual’s visibility in models like GPT, Claude, and Gemini. Our three main researcher stack up pretty well.

Professor Carl Moody ranks in the top 10% of researchers, Professor David Mustard ranks in the top 5%, and Dr. John Lott ranks in the top 1%. Our main complaint is that In The Weights seems to rely on Wikipedia for some of its information.
