President Donald Trump was in Memphis on Monday, where he discussed recent law enforcement gains as crime continues to decline across the city. Once known for its high crime rates, Memphis is seeing sharp drops in thefts, robberies, and homicides following increased cooperation between local and federal authorities.

John Lott, president of the Crime Prevention Research Center, joined NTD to discuss what’s driving the shift, its impact on vulnerable communities, and whether similar strategies could be replicated nationwide.
