Dr. John Lott Jr. talked to Steve Austin on ABC Brisbane about gun-related crime and Australia’s gun policies in the aftermath of the Bondi Beach incident. The full interview lasted for 45 minutes, so this is just a short portion of our interview. There is a lot of editing that cuts answers that I gave in half, such as the discussion that I had about firearm homicides and suicides. Before the interview got started Dr. Lott asked if there was a time limit on the interview, and was told that there wasn’t. If he was told that there would only be 13 minutes to talk, he would have tailored his answers accordingly.
