Dr. John Lott talked to Eric Bolling on Real America’s Voice about a SIG P320-style firearm seen in footage from a Minneapolis incident and the broader constitutional debate it ignited over whether possessing First or Second Amendment rights makes you immune from other laws, contrasting what Minnesota law currently says with how courts (and potentially the Supreme Court) may eventually rule—especially in the post-Bruen legal landscape. Bottom line from both: if you think an arrest is wrong, fight it in court—don’t resist officers on the scene, and don’t escalate an encounter while armed.

I watched every angle of every video, and at no point did the mail nurse go for his weapon. He was merely trying to help the lady EMT up. You know, the one the officers shoved to the ground. I respect your research, but I can’t get the following quote out of my head. Btw I fully support the 2A.
“The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.” – George Orwell
Thanks, but that isn’t the point. I have no problem with people carrying a permitted concealed handgun at a protest, but Pretti broke every rule that you get taught when carrying a permitted concealed handgun. 1) Don’t interfere police. 2) Obey all orders from the police. If you think that they are behaving incorrectly, deal with that later in court. 3) Don’t fight with the police. 4) if you are carrying a gun and the police stop you, you should immediately let them know that you are carrying. The police have a dangerous job and while you might have been able to watch this video in slow motion over and over again from many angles, the police don’t have that luxury. They may have a second or two to make a decision. It is the reason that there are all the rules that I just listed that ESPECIALLY apply to someone carrying a permitted concealed handgun.
