Survey: The Legacy Media’s Unwillingness to Cover Crime by Illegals Causes Most Americans to Believe Illegal Aliens Don’t Commit Crime at a Higher Rate than Americans

May 15, 2025 | Illegal Aliens, Survey

The CPRC hired McLaughlin & Associates to survey 1,000 general election voters on April 29th, 2025, regarding whether people think illegal aliens are committing crime at a higher rate than Americans. Despite all the evidence to the contrary, by a 41.6%-to-33.3%, likely voters disagree that illegals are more likely to commit crime. Men, Republicans, conservatives, whites, and those between 41 and 55 years of age are the only ones who believe that illegal aliens are more likely to commit crime than Americans. Hispanics are more than twice as likely as blacks to believe that illegals commit more crime than Americans. Young people (18 to 29) are also much more likely to believe illegal aliens aren’t committed crime.
