The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey asked likely voters from April 15to 17th: “You cannot just free the criminals and think crime is going to go down magically, you have to imprison [criminals] so you can liberate 350 million Americans that are asking for the end of crime and the end of terrorism.” 83% of Republicans, 51% of Democrats and 62% of unaffiliated voters at least somewhat agree with the statement. While all groups agree with the statement, Liberals and Democrats are the least supportive.
