Most Voters are Angry about the Waste of Taxpayer Money, Even most Democrats and Liberals, Those with a Graduate School Education are the Least Angry

Feb 28, 2025 | Survey

A new Rasmussen Reports survey shows that 70% of likely voters are angry about the amount of waste, fraud, and abuse in federal government spending, with 45% very angry. Even 60% of Democrats and 53% of liberals are angry, which raises questions about why Democrats are fighting so hard against reigning in this waste. Blacks and Whites are equally angry, with Hispanics and others (Asians and others) the most angry.

Those who have a graduate education and the highest income people tend to be the least angry.
