Media Bias on Guns: On NBC’s Chuck: “Is that illegal [to own rifles]? Sadly, no.”

A lot of TV characters these days are saying how much they hate guns. It is hard to think of any other item they so regularly deride. It is as if the media is trying to condition people to hate guns. This is from an older show (Chuck on NBC, Season 3, Episode 16, May 10, 2010). When Dr. Eleanor Faye “Ellie” Woodcomb (played by Sarah Lancaster) tells her husband, Dr. Devon Christian “Captain Awesome” Woodcomb (Ryan McPartlin), that a friend of theirs “has guns, very big guns” (rifles), Devon responds:

Is that creepy? Yes.

Is that illegal? Sadly, no.
