Dr. John Lott talked to Cheryl Chumley on the Washington Times’ Bold & Blunt Podcast about his new op-ed at the Wall Street Journal titled “The Media Say Crime Is Going Down. Don’t Believe It: The decline in reported crimes is a function of less reporting, not less crime.” President Joe Biden has been out and about, claiming crime stats show he’s doing an A-OK job of keeping citizens in this country — despite the fact that police and innocent women are getting beat down in the streets by thugs and illegal aliens and criminals who’ve been given free passes on prosecution. The Democrat logic is to repeat a lie often enough and people will start to believe it. But crime stats can be skewed. And the media has been doing a terrible job of reporting truthful crime data.
