Upper Darby police say at about 12:30 a.m., a white Kia sideswiped another car in the 300 block of Richfield Road. The victim followed the car, looking to have a word with the driver when they were stopped at a light at the intersection of Marshall and Hampton roads.
“That’s when the rear passenger got out and confronted him and tried to carjack his vehicle and there was an exchange of gunfire,” Bernhardt said.
One of those shots hit the alleged carjacker in the back, and authorities said he jumped back into the Kia which sped off. An Upper Darby officer heard the gunfire and called for backup…
The victim in this case is a 38-year-old man from Upper Darby. Police don’t yet know if he fired the shot that hit the carjacker, but they do say the victim is licensed to carry…

The shooting happened at about 5:15 p.m. Sunday evening on Marquette Road near St. Regis Road in the Garden Village Park area in Rosedale.
According to charging documents, obtained by Fox45 News, an argument between the victim and 19-year-old suspect Alexis Valencia–with the other juvenile suspects–triggered the gun violence.
After the victim was shot, according to charging documents, Valencia told the female suspect to “shoot the boy (the victim) in the head.” She did not–but did, according to police, strike the victim in the head multiple times with the handgun.
We’ve learned a neighbor who heard the gunshot grabbed his firearm and ran to the scene of the shooting, According to charging documents, he arrived at the playground area, saw the female holding a gun near the victim, and ordered her to put down the gun. Investigators say she threw it in his direction…
The suspects ran off, then sped away in a car. The neighbor with the gun was able to get a license plate number. That helped police track the suspects to the house on Glenarm Avenue where police arrested them…

According to the Marysville Police Department, officers responded to 911 reports of gunfire in the 8400 block of 41st Drive NE.
Police said three armed suspects arrived at the location in a stolen vehicle and confronted a homeowner who had just arrived home. Gunfire was exchanged between the two parties leading to the suspects fleeing the area on foot.
Police said multiple nearby homes and vehicles were struck by gunfire. Fortunately, no one was hurt…

The shooting reportedly happened on Thursday, Feb. 8, just before 10 p.m. apartment complex on 72nd Avenue in Baton Rouge.
According to arrest records, Johnson dropped a woman off to wash clothes, and when he returned, he started yelling at her and grabbed her by the back of her neck while she was trying to put clothes in the trunk of her car, which her 17-month-old was also in.
Arrest records state he walked up to the door, cursing and yelling for her to “hurry up.”
Officials said another woman and a man attempted to “settle down the argument,” which led to a fight, and Johnson got a gun from the vehicle and shot at them, hitting the man in the hand.
The person who was injured shot back at Johnson, hitting him in the stomach, added officials.

Around 1:30 a.m. Sunday, police were called to the fast food restaurant near Prasada Parkway and Waddell Road, near Loop 303, after reports of a person with a gun. Police say that 24-year-old Adrian Garduno was in his vehicle in the drive-thru when an argument broke out with two others in a separate vehicle. As the argument escalated, Garduno got out of his vehicle, pulled a gun and pointed it at the other people, according to police. That’s when a man in the other vehicle shot Garduno multiple times.
The shooting happened while officers were still en route, and Garduno was later pronounced dead at the scene. Police say the man who shot Garduno stayed on the scene and cooperated with the investigation. He was later released without any charges…

Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the scene in the 300 block of Parramatta Lane near Imperial Valley Drive at about 3:12 a.m. after a man called saying he had shot someone, police said.
The suspected shooter was sleeping in the back seat of his four-door pickup truck when another man, believed to be armed, entered the truck and tried to rob him, Gonzalez said.
“The decedent was apparently burglarizing a number of vehicles in the parking lot – climbed into the reportee’s pickup truck. The reportee was armed with an AR-15 rifle,” HCSO Sgt. Ben Beall said.

On Thursday, February 15, 2024, around 2:00 p.m. Cheyenne Police Officers were dispatched to a report of a shooting in the 3300 block of Dunn Avenue. Responding officers determined that three men had been shot.
Police say that 24-year-old James Gulley and another person were parked in a vehicle when 22-year-old Mauricio Dominguez and 18-year-old Leandro Dominguez pulled up next to them. Mauricio Domingo got out of the vehicle brandishing a large pipe wrench in a threatening manner. Gulley also exited the vehicle, pulled out a gun, and allegedly shot at Mauricio Domingez multiple times, killing him. Gulley called 911 to report the incident.
According to police, Leandro Dominguez then drove to his nearby home, got a gun, and returned. Leandro Domingez allegedly pointed the gun toward Gulley and the passenger and shot at Gulley. Gulley shot back.
Both shooters were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Although there were several bystanders in the area, no other injuries were reported. One person was nearly struck by the bullets…

A 29-year-old man was fatally shot while riding a King County Metro bus that was traveling through Kent Friday afternoon.
Kent police said officers responded to a 911 call around 1 p.m. that reported a shooting that occurred on a King County Metro bus, which had stopped at the 200 block of Central Ave. S.
Rayford had reportedly attacked a 35-year-old man on the bus. The man suffered minor injuries and cuts and bruises to his face…
Rayford got on the bus at an unknown location, according to Kent Police Chief Rafael Padilla in his Public Safety Report Feb. 20 to the City Council. He went to the back of the bus, confronted the victim and physically assaulted him by hitting him in the head until he nearly passed out, Padilla said.
“The man pulled out his handgun and shot one time,” Padilla said.
No information was released about why Rayford attacked the man.
The man was lawfully allowed to be in possession of the firearm, Padilla said. King County prosecutors reviewed the case and decided no charges would be filed against the man.
“It’s an unfortunate situation,” Padilla said. “But under the law it’s defined as self-defense.”

Torchia’s father was working at the counter when the suspects entered and began smashing the display cases. That’s when he walked over to a back room and retrieved his firearm. He then several fired shots into the floor to scare off the thieves.

The incident report says police were called to BayCoast Bank on Swansea Mall Drive just after 12:40 p.m. Monday for a robbery in progress. The courier, a 25-year-old man, said he was dropping off cash that he had just picked up the dispensaries. He later told police he believed a “large sum of money” was stolen, estimating it to be no less than $37,000.
In recounting the robbery, the courier said he was at the dropbox outside the bank when he was approached by the two suspects. One of them pushed a handgun into his torso, he said, then cable-tied his hands before starting to take the bags of cash…
One of the suspects tried to disarm the courier, who had a gun in a hip holster, but he resisted and was pepper-sprayed. Police noted that the courier had a license to carry.
The report says the courier eventually freed his right hand and fired three shots at the suspects, who drove off in a U-Haul van, which police later learned was stolen out of Abington…

Detectives and crime scene specialists determined that Hernandez was slashing the callers’ tires with a knife. When the caller confronted Hernandez, police said Hernandez threatened the caller with the knife. The caller then shot Hernandez, the release said.
Police said the caller remained on scene and was cooperative with the investigation. No arrests have been made at this time, according to the release. APD is investigating this case as Austin’s 10th homicide of 2024…

Police say it started as a robbery on a Broad Street Line train near the Hunting Park Avenue stop.
The victim of the robbery was armed and opened fire on the attackers.
The man, who had a permit to carry, pulled out his gun during the struggle.
Police say the gun went off during the altercation, missing the attempted robbers but striking a 22-year-old bystander. He was rushed to Einstein Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition.
Police have not charged the shooter at this point but have since identified 23-year-old Marquan Best and 21-year-old Trevon Gordon as the robbery suspects and took them into custody.

Detectives said a preliminary investigation indicates the rideshare drive called 911 twice Monday, first at 9:57 p.m. from the 1100 block of Broadway, where he reported that he had been kidnapped at gunpoint by an individual in his vehicle, but the call disconnected before additional information could be obtained.
He then called 911 again at 10:14 p.m., reporting he had just shot a man who robbed and kidnapped him. He said he was at the Herman Street and 16th Avenue North intersection.
Gardner was found unresponsive on the ground as a result of multiple gunshot wounds. He then died at the scene, according to police. A loaded pistol was located on the sidewalk near him while the driver’s pistol was found in the driver’s seat of his Chevrolet Tahoe.
MNPD said the rideshare driver fully cooperated with Homicide Unit detectives and gave a detailed statement at police headquarters. According to the driver, he gave Gardner a ride to a public housing area when Gardner became agitated, pulled a gun and began making threats.
