A Rare Defensive Gun Use on Television, though it is from Canada and from over a decade ago

Canada might be much more heavily into gun control, but we have found slightly more defensive gun uses on the CBC than on American television. Here is an episode from the CBC’s Being Erica (Season 3, Episode 1, September 21, 2010). A young man is harassing a woman (Erica, played by Erin Karpluk), and Dr. Tom (played by Michael Riley) successfully brandishes a fake gun to scare off the harasser.
