Mom’s Demand Shannon Watts Blocks John Lott on Twitter

Jul 23, 2023 | Gun Control Advocates

Shannon Watts and the Bloomberg groups are taking credit for Jason Aldean being cancelled on Country Music Television for his song “Try that in a Small Town.” They were very upset about the reference to guns in the song: “Got a gun that my granddad gave me.” Watts long ago blocked the Crime Prevention Research Center account, but she hadn’t blocked Dr. Lott until July 19th.

Here is Watts’ original Tweet.

In response, Dr. Lott posted this on Twitter:

Shannon, I know lots of crime victims who understand the importance of guns in self defense. They know police are important, but that the police almost always arrive after the crime occurs. They know the regs you push disarm the most law-abiding.

Why can’t you understand that?

Shannon Watts then blocked him.
