Unfortunately, this is yet another mass public shooting in a gun-free zone. The mass murderer originally targeted a local mall but decided against that “because of a threat assessment by the suspect of too much security.”

FELONY. STATE LAW PRESCRIBES A MAXIMUM PENALTY OF SIX (6) YEARS IMPRISONMENT AND A FINE NOT TO EXCEED THREE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($3,000) FOR CARRYING WEAPONS ON SCHOOL PROPERTY.
