Victims of some serious crimes in Tennessee can now ask for a lifetime order of protection

Thanks to a suggestion by Nikki Goeser to state lawmaker William Lamberth, victims of some serious crimes in Tennessee can now ask for a lifetime order of protection. Lamberth and state Senator Mike Bell carried the bill through the state legislature. Prior to this people were limited to orders of protection that lasted on one year and you had to have new evidence to renew it.
