CPRC’s Nikki Goeser Given Tennessee’s First Lifetime Order of Protection

Jul 23, 2021 | Featured

Today the CPRC’s Nikki Goeser became the first person in Tennessee to receive a lifetime order of protection against the man who murdered her husband over a decade ago. While the murderer has been in prison, he has written nine letters to Nikki. In Christmas and Valentine’s Day cards and letters, the murderer has continued to profess his love for Nikki, telling her that he will still love her even if she ever finds someone new in her life. Given that this stalker murdered Nikki’s husband because of this professed love, you can understand why she is concerned for her safety and that of her loved ones.

State House Majority Leader William Lamberth sponsored the lifetime order of protection and the bill passed without any opposition. Nikki had been the sole person to testify for the bill in both the state House and Senate.
