Years ago I heard that the concept of Background Checks was begun by the NRA.
I have never been so concerned about the state of our country.
Aperiodically I listen to CNN, MSNBC and other leftist oriented newscasts. I believe that it helps me stay straight … but, just watched CNN Don Lemon. What a travesty of abuse and illogical statements.

I think that anyone with an IQ higher than a carrot would see through it.

Years ago I had a discussion with a guy in the CIA who had been stationed in an African country that was overcome through military coup. He said that the military junta congratulated the populace and said that the junta wanted to help those who supported them by giving them ammunition for their weapons. Many contacted the junta requesting certain types of ammunition … a month or so later, the junta went to all of those people and confiscating their weapons. Similarly, Hitler and other tyrants began their takeovers by first confiscating the peoples’ guns.
Those who do not learn from history … etc.
