Dr. John Lott appeared on Mark Levin’s national radio show to discuss Joe Biden’s claims about gun crime. On Wednesday, June 23, 2021, Joe Biden and Attorney General Merrick Garland spoke to the nation the administration’s gun crime prevention strategy. They mentioned their push so far on ghost guns, a rule to clarify that pistols equipped with certain stabilizing braces, and their model Red Flag law. The administration “zero tolerance” approach to “rogue gun dealers” who file false reports is to revoke their license after only one violation. The problem is that anyone knows what is a violation is in the eye of the beholder and in the past the Obama administration went after dealers if they even made small mistakes filling out forms (e.g., having the name of the city in the space for the county name or transposing two digits for a gun’s serial number in one of the thousands of guns a shop might sell over years). In the past, the Obama administration made life difficult for these dealers. The Biden administration will destroy these companies.

Very good interview. To those who responsibly use firearms, the anti-gun arguments are out and out lies and it’s obvious that the authors of those arguments have never had any experience or training with guns or gun safety. The proof of this can be seen and heard on TV and in a multitude of youtube videos when they espouse their disinformation. The mainstream tabloids (ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC, etc.) don’t even make an attempt to do their homework on this, and/or they cherry-pick the information that fits their anti-gun narrative. Since when do criminals obey laws. Essentially, ‘Gun Control’ is equivalent to ‘OSHA’ for criminals.
