It looks likely that Amy Coney Barrett will be appointed to be an Associate Justice on the Supreme Court. For those interested in her views on the Second Amendment, this is the case of hers to read. Her 37-page dissent from a 2019 decision by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit shows her thorough and scholarly approach to applying constitutional provisions in light of their historical background and original public meaning.
