I don’t want to see window stickers by the doors warning that “some” teachers are armed. Armed teachers should be assumed. (And, physical disability aside, any teacher refusing to accept that responsibility is flat out unfit for the job. )
What I want to see is a large portable sign out front celebrating the victory of the local high school’s militia class victory at the state IDPA championships.
Article II, section 8, clause 16 of the Constitution charges Congress to “to provide for organizing, arming, and disciplining, the Militia” while reserving to the states the authority to actually perform the training “according to the discipline prescribed by Congress”. Public schools would be ideal for this. And note the “arming”–every student who passes the course gets a federally funded duty rifle, something like an AR-15.
OF COURSE the teachers in such a society would be armed, not only to protect primary school students and others too young for the militia, but to present examples of responsible citizenship.
The whole point of the American public school system should be to teach students to be free, self-sufficient citizens, not helpless, obedient slaves.
The fact that the debate even arises, and much more that not just teachers, but entire school systems, fight against this, shows a gross dereliction of duty, even a deliberate desire to enslave the citizenry. Enough with getting the subversives to tolerate a minor exception–go for their throats and their hearts’ blood. Dominate the battle field. Stop begging to be ALLOWED to make our case, and DEMAND that they make theirs in the face of a roused, armed citizenry. Ruthlessly root out any weakness or falsehood in their arguments.
There, that oughta move the Overton window a bit in our favor.
