Ford Motors tells Alabama car dealership to stop giving away guns after a mass shooting in California

After a shooting in California county where concealed handgun permits are banned for general citizens, Ford Motor’s solution is not to have Americans own guns? You can see the link available here.

A man who had just been fired from a Northern California Ford dealership shot and killed two employees and then killed himself Tuesday evening, police and witnesses said. Police called to the Ford Store Morgan Hill found a man shot dead of an apparently self-inflicted wound on the ground outside some service bays.

Santa Clara County, where the shooting occurred, has 108 concealed handgun permits out of an adult population of 1.5 million — that is 0.007% of adults. Compare that to the rest of the country where outside the restrictive states of California and New York about 8.63% of the adult population has a permit. To put it differently, in Santa Clara County that is just 1 out of every 14,286 adults. In the rest of the country, it is 1 out of 11.6 adults. On top of that, the few people who get a concealed handgun permit in Santa Clara are extremely wealthy, politically connected people, not the type of people who go to a Ford dealership.

What if Ford instead pushed to end the ban on general citizens being able to defend themselves in Santa Clara and the rest of California.

AS a Ford shareho;der for many decades , I am displeased by any corporate anti- Constitutional policy. I expect loyalty to

our Constitution , whether or not the directors have taken the oath “to protect and defend” during their lifetimes .

I am disappointed in Ford Company. I had thought that my next vehicle would be a Ford, but it looks like Toyota has the edge now. Looks like to me the Ford Corporation has hurt themselves badly. In the South the second Amendment is treasured.

So is there really a question of whether Trump reduced crime in DC? Did the Washington Post inaccurately report murder data to make the drop look smaller than it actually is?

So is there really a question of whether Trump reduced crime in DC? Did the Washington Post inaccurately report murder data to make the drop look smaller than it actually is?

The Washington Post doesn't really want to give President Trump credit for the drop in crime in DC. Please look at the graph above and notice that there was a discrete change in August and September 2025 (and the change only started about half way through August on...
