Dr. John Lott joined Brian Lilley on Ottawa’s giant 50,000-watt CFRA radio station to discuss the push to ban handguns in Canada. Lott pointed out how every single time all guns or all handguns have been banned, there has been an increase in murder/homicide. There were 795,854 registered restricted firearms in Canada in 2015, though not all of those are handguns. Between 2004 and 2015, the number of registered, restricted firearms more than doubled from 384,888 to 795,854.
