On Fox News: Debate on how to stop mass public shootings

Dr. John Lott from the Crime Prevention Research Center and Igor Volsky with the Center for American Progress debated how to stop mass public shootings and the role of gun control.  The discussion took place on Laura Ingraham’s show.  For those interested in looking at the academic research on guns and crime that Lott was referring to, follow this link here.  For one of the more famous studies on suicides that shows that increased gun ownership doesn’t increase suicide, see this paper here.
