    There was a mass shooting in Australia in 2014 with the Hunt family murder / suicide (5 including the perpetrator)
    Also there have still been several mass murders from other means than guns:
    Snowtown murders 1992 with 12 dead
    Childers Palace 2000 with 15 dead
    Churchill Fire 2009 with 10 dead
    Victorian Bushfires (Black Saturday) 2009 with 173 dead and 414 injured
    Quakers Hill Nursing Home 2011 with 11 dead
    Cairns child murders 2014 with 8 dead
    Sydney family gassed 2016 with 4 dead
    Melbourne Car attack 2017 with 6 dead (and 30 injured)
