Dr. Lott explains what would likely happen should the Supreme Court overturn the landmark Heller decision that the right to bear arms is an individual right and not just a collective right. It is not likely that there will be a federal push for gun bans, but individual states could regulate firearms heavily. Permit rules may become more restrictive. Places like D.C. could go back to complete gun bans.
