Dr. John Lott Jr., goes into details with Doc Washburn of 102.9 KARN about Obama’s statement back in 1996 (at The University of Chicago Law School) that he “didn’t believe people should be able to own guns.” More information is given about the real costs imposed on the most vulnerable of citizens (law-abiding, poor blacks living in high crime urban areas) with expanded background checks. The very people who would benefit the most from having a gun and being able to carry it for self defense, will be priced out of doing so.
