Bloomberg’s Moms Demand Action makes false statement to Texas state Senators, claiming that there are no numbers on the behavior of permit holders

The bizarre thing here is that Moms Demand Action really thought that they could get away with their claim that there is no data available on how permit holders behave.  Surely, Texas state Senators know what information is offered by the Texas Department of Public Safety, and similar data is available for other states (Michigan and Florida, though the CPRC didn’t pay to obtain the Florida data).  An analysis of college age permit holders in Michigan and Texas is available here.
