Bloomberg’s gun controllers use lawyers to stop political debate, what is Bloomberg afraid of?

31 Jul , 2014

Bloomberg’s Everytown for Gun Safety put together a video about the risks that guns supposedly pose for women.  Two points about this video:

Teachers in Missouri getting training to carry guns

31 Jul , 2014

The CBS News piece buys into the false Bloomberg claim that these types of shootings are becoming more of a threat and it doesn’t address why the concerns over teachers carrying is misplaced, but it is still a useful piece. The fact that CBS News is using the completely discredited Bloomberg claim about the school shooting problem getting worse is very disturbing.…

30 Jul , 2014

The piece at the Daily Caller starts this way:

Washington, DC, was the last place in America that completely banned people carrying concealed handguns. Then it was temporarily one of the most liberal.

On Saturday, with a decision by Senior District Court Judge Fredrick Scullin Jr., DC joined six states that no longer require people to get a permit to concealed carry, so-called Constitutional-carry states: Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Wyoming, Vermont, and virtually all of Montana.

30 Jul , 2014

Think about sensitive areas where permitted concealed handguns might be banned and the most obvious ones on the list might be banks or places that serve alcohol.  But only one state completely bans carrying handguns in places that serve alcohol: Louisiana.  It turns out that only one state bans permitted concealed handguns: Montana.  …
