Officers have arrested five teenagers after a police chase through multiple metro Atlanta cities and counties early Tuesday morning.

Officials tell FOX 5 the incident started around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday in DeKalb County with a shooting on the 1400 block of Willow Lake Drive. According to investigators, a woman was inside her car when the teenagers approached her and demanded her vehicle.

The victim told police that she and the suspects got into a shootout where she was injured. The five teenagers fled without the vehicle. The victim in this case was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries…

Just before 7:30 p.m., police were called to the 2300 block of Webster Avenue after they were alerted to three people attempting to break into a business and commit a robbery.

However, the suspects were met by the owner who fired shots back at the attempted robbers.

They ultimately fled the scene after the owner shot back…

Shortly before 8 a.m., officers from Vancouver Police, the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, and Washington State Patrol responded to a call for a “Disturbance with a Weapon” at the OnTrac warehouse in the 3600-block of NW 32nd Avenue, in the Fruit Valley area…

Witnesses told police that two contractors for the company got into a fist fight. Employees were able to separate the men, ages 21 and 23, and they returned to their vehicles parked inside the warehouse, a police news release states.

A few minutes later, police said the 23-year-old man drove past the other man’s car, stopped for a moment and then drove away. Then, the 21-year-old man got out of his car and dropped a knife, according to the news release. He picked up the knife and sprinted toward where the 23-year-old stopped his car with the driver’s window rolled down. While the man was running at him, the 23-year-old pulled out a gun and shot the man in the leg.

Police said the man with the gun was cooperative, and officers released him after interviewing him. Investigators determined the shooting was self-defense, police said…

On Saturday, March 5, around 12:09 p.m., the Warren County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call of a shooting on Murphy Road.

According to a social media post by the WCSO, the investigation revealed that a domestic disturbance had occurred and the victim had been physically assaulted. During the altercation, the victim shot the perpetrator in self-defense before the suspect fled the scene and stole the victim’s vehicle, according to the post…

Officers responded at around 5:10 p.m. Monday to a shooting at an apartment complex in the 700 block of North Broadway. They arrived to find 21-year-old Gabriel Njoroge who had been shot. He died at the scene…

Police spokesperson Charley Davidson said the investigation revealed there was a disturbance between Njoroge and the 70-year-old man outside the apartments.

“During the disturbance, Njoroge threatened the male and came towards him armed with a box knife,” Officer Davidson said. “Being in fear for his safety, the 70-year-old shot Njoroge.”

The 70-year-old man has not been arrested. The investigation is ongoing and will be presented to the district attorney’s office for a charging decision.

A woman shot a man who assaulted and chased after her Wednesday afternoon, according to police.

According to St. Louis City police, a woman was coerced into saying a man was shot during a robbery over shoes in Moline Acres. She later told officers the man demanded she make up the story to hide the actual events that transpired.

The woman then said the incident began with an argument that included the man physically assaulting her in Alton. When the duo drove to the area of Carrie and N. Broadway in St. Louis, she said she ran from the car and the man ran after her. When the man got close to her and attempted to hit her, she shot him…

Police responded to Longfellow Street around 11 p.m. March 12 in reference to a man who had been shot.

Officers found a 22-year-old Dyersburg man suffering from a gunshot wound. He had been shot at by at least three gunmen, who left the scene in a dark colored SUV, after a relative of the victim returned fire on the gunmen, according to the Dyersburg Police Department…

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office announced that no charges will be filed in the shooting that killed one person on Lake Keowee earlier this week…

The shooting occurred near Fall Creek Landing Number 2 shortly after 2 p.m. on Tuesday. The coroner said 29-year-old Nathan Drew Morgan was killed.

The incident began when a couple on a pontoon boat saw Morgan and a woman in distress on a Jet Ski in the water. The couple then decided to help Morgan and the woman.

According to the deputies, after being rescued from the Jet Ski, Morgan began assaulting the couple on the pontoon boat.

Deputies said the woman with Morgan tried to deescalate the assault by pushing Morgan back into the water. However, Morgan then got back onto the boat a second time, and deputies say after another encounter, the man on the pontoon boat feared for his life and shot Morgan…

The girlfriend said they drove to the 11th and Pike Playground to meet friends to play basketball. After basketball, they talked for a bit with the friends at 11th and Amity, then walked to her car at 11th and Pike, a block away.

She got into the passenger seat and her boyfriend was to the rear of the car, talking with a friend, when Ramsey approached on the sidewalk…

The woman saw Ramsey reach into his waistband and draw a handgun, firing twice at the victim, who was struck in an arm.

The woman got out of the car and drew her own handgun, firing numerous shots toward Ramsey in defense of her boyfriend.

Ramsey returned fired, and the rounds struck her car.

She took cover behind the car and wasn’t injured. Her boyfriend joined her behind the car and told her to drive them to the Ninth and Marion streets fire station about four blocks away…

Investigators said the incident involved an ongoing neighborhood dispute in a different area of the city, but didn’t elaborate…

The shooting happened along Auburn and Orange Grove avenues around 8:50 a.m., the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office said.

Witnesses at the scene told authorities that a driver described as a 46-year-old man intentionally hit another vehicle with a driver described as a 24-year-old man. Authorities say surveillance footage from the scene shows the 46-year-old stopped his vehicle in the road and approached the 24-year-old.

Witnesses say the 46-year-old reached into the 24-year-old’s car. That’s when the 24-year-old shot him in the torso…

Authorities say the 46-year-old man who died had a knife on him at the time.

Authorities say the shooter was detained at the scene of the shooting and cooperated with detectives. The 24-year-old was released without charges…

The shooting was first reported around 5:30 a.m. in the 3200 block of Clarksville Pike, the Metro Nashville Police Department said. Police later identified the man killed as 23-year-old Cornell Evans.

Evans entered a convenience store and went directly to the bathroom where he remained “for an unusual period of time,” the clerk told police. The clerk went into the bathroom to encourage Evans out and said Evans then emerged “agitated and furious,” and berated employees.

Evans was asked to leave the store and the clerk followed him outside to persuade him to get off the property. While on the sidewalk, Evans approached the clerk and “took a fighting stance” before a physical altercation occurred, according to police.

The clerk said he was being punched from behind before he pulled out his pistol and fired in an attempt to protect himself, police said…

The clerk cooperated with police and gave a detailed statement, MNPD said. He currently faces no charges in the case, though it remains under investigation.

It was 7:45 pm when a young man in his late teens or early 20s tried to rob this pot shop, according to police…

“One of our employees was on break in his car. He exited his car and was walking back toward the store. A gentleman came up behind him out of the dark, grabbed him in a headlock and put a gun to his head and started walking him down here to the front door,” said Ryan Evans with Euphorium. “Our ID checker confirmed that with him. He said ‘yes, are you serious, you are robbing us right now? This is a robbery.’ He put his attention to our security guard. And our ID checker drew his gun and fired.”

Evans said the man who shot and killed the suspected robber, works at the pot dispensary as an ID checker at the front door. That same employee also works for Rehv Arms, which is right next door to the marijuana dispensary. That employee has a concealed carry permit and carries a gun, according to Evans…

Evans says he wants everyone to know the ID checker is a hero.

None of the other employees or customers inside the store were ever hurt…

According to police, at 7:27 p.m. Saturday, March 19, officers responded to two 911 calls in the 100 block of South Huron Street on Wheeling Island, where officers met with one of the callers who told police he shot a man in self-defense…

“Based on initial evidence, the suspect has not been charged with a crime and was released late Saturday night,” Schwertfeger said…

Investigators determined, through witness accounts, that Thompson was driving a vehicle in an aggressive manner on South Huron Street on March 19. During that time, the shooter – The Intelligencer will not release his name since he was not charged – made a gesture to Thompson from the sidewalk. Thompson then stopped his car in the 100 block of South Huron Street and approached the shooter on the sidewalk, police said, where a fight ensued.

As the fight continued, the shooter ended up on his back, and then fired three shots, two of them fatally wounding Thompson, according to investigators’ findings. No outside video captured the altercation…

Police also determined there was no prior relationship between the shooter and Thompson. The shooter was legally carrying the firearm.

The facts developed in the months-long investigation were brought before an Ohio County Grand Jury on May 9, 2022. After a full presentation of the investigation and a lengthy deliberation, members of the grand jury did not find probable cause to charge any crime against the shooter.

A gunman wounded two people after pulling out a gun and firing at a house party which was being attended by both students and community members near Temple University, police said.

The wounded included a 19-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man, the latter of which organized the party of around 100 people at a rowhome on the 1800 block of Diamond Street in North Philadelphia, just a few blocks from the university’s campus, Philadelphia Police Department Capt. John Walker said…

The gunman fired around 13 shots, striking other homes nearby, Walker said. He added that the bullets didn’t appear to have pierced the home where the party was taking place…

A man at the scene with a gun permit fired back at least two shots, the police captain said, noting that the second man was being investigated…

Deputies reportedly responded to the area of Nelson’s Concrete in Rocky Top for suspicious activity around 6:25 p.m. on March 21. A man, James Ivey, 37, was found and matched the description given by the caller of the report. He was taken into custody for two outstanding warrants.

Shortly after, deputies responded again to the area of Nelson’s Concrete to the report of shots fired. Once on the scene, the owner was present and told officials that an individual was inside one of his buildings and had charged after him multiple times. As a result, the owner reportedly fired his weapon towards the suspect but told investigators that he was unsure it hit him as he left the building…

The shooting happened at On Time Towing and according to an employee who wishes to remain anonymous, a man and a woman arrived at the business to retrieve a car that had been towed.

According to the employee, the man, now identified as 28-year-old Jarrod Murray, called beforehand and made threats to employees over the phone upon learning that the vehicle had been towed.

Murray paid to get the car back, but as he was leaving, he flashed a handgun and walked toward employees of the business, according to the same employee.

Murray then returned to his car and drove a short distance, as if leaving the lot, before showing his gun again from the driver’s seat, said the employee…

It was here that Murray was shot by an employee…

The investigation by Richmond Police is still ongoing, no charges have been made at this time.

The shooting happened around 12:40 a.m. on John Young Parkway at State Road 528.

Detectives said the rideshare driver told them she fired her gun at Daniel Pacheco, 27, after he charged towards her when she kicked him out of the car.

The woman said she had witnessed Pacheco hit his girlfriend prior to them entering her vehicle, and he once again hit her inside the car. Investigators said the driver was also hit by Pacheco inside the vehicle…

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office said Pacheco is in stable condition and has been charged with battery.

As of now, no charges have been filed against the driver who shot Pacheco. The identity of the driver and the girlfriend have not been released…

About 6:30 p.m., a man was driving a red Mitsubishi for a taxi service when he was called to the 5400 block of West Van Buren Street, Chicago police said.

Three males entered his vehicle, and one pulled out a handgun and demanded the 30-year-old driver’s car, police said.

The driver then shot the man, 30, striking him in the forearm and hip, police said. The man was taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition, police said…

The driver had a valid concealed carry license, according to police…

The weapon, police say, was in the shape of a gun and covered in plastic.

The manager, who has a license to carry, then took out a gun and shot the suspect in the head. The shooting unfolded at the dollar store at 9th Street and Girard Avenue just after 8:30 p.m. on Thursday…

Sometime before 8:30 p.m., one male shot at a man threatening him and his male friend in a business parking lot in the 2900 block of Rayford Road. The pair met with the man who was responding to an online ad for a vehicle sale. But once the man joined a test drive, he allegedly pulled a gun on the two and tried to steal the vehicle, according to the Montgomery County’s Sheriff’s Office…

No charges have been brought against the person who shot the alleged armed robber. The case will be referred to the grand jury, the sheriff’s office explained…

Officers from the Philadelphia Police Department were called to the 1400 block of Master Street around noon for reports of a shooting.

A police source told FOX 29’s Jennifer Joyce that two young men wearing masks entered the store and approached a man in his 23-year-old man waiting for a food order. One of the robbers hit the man in the head with the gun and a struggle began.

The robber handed the gun to his accomplice at which point law enforcement sources said the customer shot the armed robber twice in the abdomen. The customer is licensed to carry a firearm, according to police sources…

Law enforcement sources say the customer was released and is unlikely to be charged. The entire incident was captured on store surveillance that has already been turned over to investigators.

The driver told investigators that one of two teenager passengers he drove to the area shot him as they were leaving his car. The driver, a permitted gun owner, returned fire. He then sped off to the intersection of Lyndale and 27th avenues, where he flagged down police. The teens, a boy and a girl, ran away from the scene…
