Allowing concealed carry in identical settings immediately CHOPPED violent crime by 47.7% while a gun ban INCREASED violent crime by 9.5%. These unsurprising results came when Colorado State University allowed Concealed Carry on campus while the gun ban at University of Colorado’s Boulder campus stopped law-abiding citizens defending themselves from violent criminals. Similar results continued over the next 10+ years.

So these results supporting concealed carry and the right to armed self-defense should be widely publicized.

Armed citizens also deter rape. see: http://www.discouragecriminals.net/concealed-carry-study
