An Example from CBS of Media Bias regarding Concealed Handgun Permits

Jan 14, 2018 | Featured

Here is a very short clip of Hawaii Five-O trying to provide an example of a concealed handgun permit holder representing a danger to others.  Other parts of the program show the permit holder as a real jerk and eventually stealing a gun from a police officer and shooting someone.

Despite the impression this show provides, some information on how extremely law-abiding permit holders are is available here and here.

This wouldn’t be so bad if CBS also used the show to illustrate the benefits of concealed handgun permit holders.  For example, has CBS ever done a show with a concealed handgun permit holder saving the life of a police officer such as these?  That seems pretty unlikely.  It happens much more frequently than many might think (see examples here).

Unfortunately, NBC also has a recent episode of Chicago PD that is biased against permitted concealed handguns (see here).

Other examples of media bias on TV shows are available hereherehere, and here.

NCIS: LA had an episode in which civilian handgin carriers saved federal agents from terrorists. I was shocked to see it.

The Blacklist had an episode where a concealed carrier draws on a hostage taker in a gas station convenience store but somehow even with the bad guy having his back turned, he manages to turn around, see the good guy with a gun, and shoot him first. I called BS as soon as it happened.

Whuddyaspeck? CBS are in bed with the Deep State scoundrels, and so march to THEIR drum, not that of reality.

Hopefully, before too much longer, these outfits will either come to their demise or come to their senses…. and realise they do NOT represent reality. They may well find their beds are much more comfortable when they rest with the real people out here.
