I was paying school taxes to Harrold Texas when the school board there voted to let their teachers and staff carry guns to school and in the classroom. I didn’t hear a single complaint from anyone.
It was pretty relaxed there anyway one afternoon in the early 1980’s after school I carried a Remington 870 shotgun over my solder with out a case into the high school to loan to a teacher for a friend going hunting with him the next day. No one but the teacher knew me at that school. No one said a thing.
Arming trained teachers and staff is the only sensible way to stop school shooting. Have armed defenders mixed in with the target population is the best chance there is to stop a rampage killer before they can start killing and establish a defensible position or just pull the trigger and shoot who ever they see.
The sooner the encounter resistance of any kind the focus they usually focus their attention on the resistance, kill them selves or try to escape. Regardless they usually stop killing their target victims as long as the encounter active resistance.
Good choice of a shotgun! 🙂 And yes, completely agree with you about arming teachers and staff. There is no other solution to stop mass shootings.
