May 23, 2017 | Featured

Dr. John Lott gave the keynote speech at a rally in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on Monday, May 22.  While the talk was only about 9 minutes, he discussed a range of issues from the views of police to gun ownership, how crime rates change after gun bans, and background checks on the private transfer of guns.  Hundreds of gun rights supporters took their cause to the state Capitol on Monday, pushing for an agenda that includes making it easier to carry concealed handguns.  The presentations in the state capitol’s Rotunda brought together state lawmakers, sheriffs and those who support the right to self-defense for what has become an annual event.
